Axis 4 : INNOVATIVE INTEGRATED SURFACES & PROCESSES

The objective of axis 4 is to allow the production of demonstrators and / or prototypes, involving for example innovative functional surfaces from previous LABEX projects.
In particular, we want to support projects that allow us to go from a proof of concept (TRL3) to a technological demonstration and validation in a representative environment (TRL5).
These projects may therefore have as a starting point projects already funded within the framework of LABEX 11-19 (then the following years of LABEX 20-24), where proof of concept in the laboratory would be transformed into a demonstrator.
The project can also be seen as a first step, upstream of larger projects where development would go beyond the level of TRL addressed here (3 to 5).
